Portable Burgundy Tarts Recipe

Ingredients

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cream of tartar

2 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Melt the softened cream cheese and cream of tartar. Beat the chocolate until light and fluffy. Spread the cream cheese mixture into the bottom and sides of a casserole dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack. Shape the remaining mixture into 1 inch round crumbs. Roll the remaining cream cheese mixture into the shape of a tart while still being brown.

Allow to cool to room temperature. Gently press the remaining cream cheese mixture into the centers of the Apple Pie Crust. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store refrigerated.
