3 1/2 cups uncooked long-grain white rice
1 1/2 cups water
1 plantain zucchini, finely chopped
1 few leeks, finely chopped
1/2 large green bell pepper
5 bay leaves
3/4 cup sweet dried cranberries
Place rice, water, zucchini and leeks in sterilizing liquid, and allow to soak for at least one hour.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine made-to-order pesto, cranberries, thyme, bay leaves, 1/4 cup water and thinly sliced cooked meat. Cook and stir, occasionally, until desired starchy consistency is reached and scalding water is removed from mixture. Transfer to paper towel and set aside, marinate in refrigerator.
