Almond Fudge Recipe

Ingredients

1 (15 ounce) can evaporated milk

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon almond extract

1/4 cup lemon juice

2 tablespoons rum

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 cup light rum

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a blender combine evaporated milk, brown sugar, almond extract, lemon juice and rum. Blend until smooth and pour mixture into a 9x9 inch dish or square pan. Let cool to room temperature.

Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In the top of a double boiler, heat evaporated milk, brown sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, lemon juice and lime zest until just powder. Stirring occasionally, boil until room temperature, stirring constantly. Pour mixture over cream cheese layer. Chill 1 hour before serving.
