1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1/4 cup minced onion
1 3/4 cups shredded Italian cheese
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese flavored for toothpicks
3 chives, finely chopped
In a medium bowl, combine the Swiss cheese, onion, Italian cheese, pepper, mozzarella cheese and cream cheese, stirring until well blended. Mix thoroughly.
Fill each pan half-full; spill in the remaining 1 1/2 cup cheese mixture. Cover; refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
Remove. Discard cheese mixture and brown on top of chicken breasts. Grill, turning over, 1 to 2 minutes on each side, until chicken is cooked through.
