1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons prepared chocolate syrup
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray bottom of 9x9 inch pan with cooking spray.
Place sugar in a medium saucepan and bring it to a boil. Boil until sugar is dissolved, about 10 minutes. Remove pan from heat and beat in syrup, egg, baking powder, cinnamon and almonds.
Place cinnamon rolls in prepared pan. Continue to beat with wire whisk or mylar spatula, adding egg, egg, cinnamon and almonds to make cinnamon rolls.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove cinnamon rolls and continue to cook for 2 more minutes.
