2 cups apples - peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl combine apples, sugar, and water. Cut in butter until apples are evenly coated. Stir in apples until all the apples are coated with butter. Wrap apples with plastic wrap and place in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.
