6 cloves crushed garlic, chopped
1 cup dried onion
3 cups sour red wine vinegar
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon dried Italian-style seasoning
2 tablespoons lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Heat a large saucepan over medium to medium-high heat.
Combine garlic, onion, vinegar, Italian-style seasoning and lemon juice. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste and nutmeg to taste. Stir together, reduce heat to medium low, and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, or until desired consistency. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes
