French Toast I Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon white sugar

2 tablespoons milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Combine butter and egg in a medium bowl. Beat until smooth, then measure out 1 cup of the cream cheese; add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons milk. Stir well, then beat in another 1/2 cup of the cream cheese, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/4 cup of milk and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Notes: They can be thick or thin depending on how soft they are.

Pour evenly into two 9-inch pie pans. Bolt with toothpicks. Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes; add more milk and seasoning. Bake for a few minutes more or until browned and crispy.
