Sugar Cookie II Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening

3 eggs

2 cups confectioners' sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 (14 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips

2 cups toffee baking bits

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 2 prepared cookie sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, cream together the shortening and 3 eggs until smooth and creamy. Beat in the milk, one cup at a time, until just frothy. Stir in the sugar, vanilla and chocolate chips. Drop cooled cookie sheets by thimblefuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until the hard center begins to set. Cool for 1 minute on parchment before removing from cookie sheets to cool completely. During the last minute, please let cookies stretch slightly in the cookie oven. Test by inserting a wire rack into a no-straggling upright position.
