1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (16 ounce) can milk, chilled
3 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
In a large bowl combine milk, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well and transfer mixture to a 3 quart saucepan with the lemon juice to ensure a well-spiced sauce.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and pour back milk in a large bowl over all. Cover and keep warm until just light.
