2 cups white sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1 cup buttermilk
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch square pan. Sift together the flour, salt and butter. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together 2/3 cup of sugar and flour. Beat in the milk and buttermilk. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
