1/4 cup butter, softened
1 (15 ounce) can sliced almonds
1 cup white sugar
1 cup prepared yellow mustard
2 cups packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup chopped toasted almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 10x15 inch loaf pans. Stir together the 2 cups brown sugar, 2 cups butter and the 1 cup chopped almonds. Spread evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool bread before cutting into squares.
