1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
1 egg
1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
1 teaspoon orange rind
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 cup chocolate candy-coated chocolate pieces
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a medium saucepan, melt butter and sugar, stirring constantly. Stir milk, egg, lemon rind, orange rind, lemon extract and chocolate candy pieces into butter mixture. Beat until smooth.
Pour mixture into cookie sheet; secure with a clove tip. Bake in preheated oven for 18 to 25 minutes, or until cookie is set. Cool completely.
