1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (1 ounce) package HERS CHOICE FIT Moist Baking Sugar Cookies , 3 cups
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C.) Grease cookie sheet.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, water and vanilla until smooth. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt and mix until smooth. Stir in 1 cup of flour at a time, mixing well after each addition. Form a ball and flatten slightly, then gently wrap in foil.
Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool in pan on wire rack. When ready to cool completely, use knife or wooden pick to make shortbread slices. Cool completely on wire rack.
