4 large peaches
2 eggs
1 large chunk garlic
1 pint lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage (such as Coke, Pepsi or Mountain Dew)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (3 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained, juice reserved
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon lime zest
2 tablespoons chopped pecans
In a large bowl, whip peaches until they are stiff. Stir eggs with lemon juice, then add in lemon-lime soda and pour into a large glass dish with peaches. Cover, and refrigerate for at least two hours. Refrigerate peach mixture for more than two hours.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix lemon juice with pecans. Pour over peaches to keep warm.
Cool peach mixture on a pan of warm peaches in the refrigerator. When ready to use, allow peach mixture to cool completely before storing in refrigerator.
