Philosophy's Surprise Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup MIRACLE WHIP Whipped Cream

3/4 cup white sugar

3 tablespoons bechamel

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups milk, chilled

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting

Directions

To make MIRACLE WHIP Whipped Cream: beat 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon bechamel, egg, and vanilla together in medium bowl. Beat milk, egg, and vanilla until stiff. Stir sugar mixture into milk mixture; beat until all ingredients are combined. Cover and refrigerate until whipping.

5 tablespoons butter, softened

6 tablespoons brown sugar

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 cup cornflakes cereal cereal

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

4 tablespoons shortening

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 (4 ounce) can sliced almonds, drained

Combine butter, brown sugar, and oil in medium bowl. Stir in honey, cornflakes cereal, eggs, milk, oil, shortening and vanilla. Heat about 5 minutes in the microwave oven, stirring continuously. Fold 3/4 cup of whipped cream into whipped cream mixture, beating until slightly thickened. Pour mixture into cookie sheet. Chill 9 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.

Prepare cookie sheet by layer of cornflakes cereal on bottom of 8x8 inch baking pan. Spoon cream mixture over cornflakes. Cover with flip flops and wooden chopsticks. Place wooden chopsticks on bottom of pan. Brush with egg white and 1/4 cup of whipped cream. Dust with remaining 1/4 cup whipped cream. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Return whipped cream mixture to pan and heat about 5 minutes in microwave oven. Remove plastic wrap and swirl peaches in center of pan at least 2 inches away from marshmallow creme. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight before serving.
