Figs with Juju Topping Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups water

4 cups chopped ripe pineapple

1 banana with peel and stem

4 apricots - peeled, pitted and concentrated

Directions

In a saucepan bring water to a boil. Add pineapple and banana and cook over low heat for about 1 minute. Stir in apricots. Remove from heat and pour into nylon saucepan and let stand , covered, at room temperature.

To the 1 cup of boiling water add chopped kiwis , boiled and cooled. Add a small amount of water if necessary. Bring to a boil, lid automatically opens and all liquid drained. Add sugar and turmeric. Reduce heat to lower temperature. Cover and continue cooking until sauce has reduced by half.
