Bamped Cheese Ball Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound gourmet, sharp processed cheese spread, halved

1 tablespoon butter, softened

2 eggs, beaten

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup chopped onion

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

3 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

In a medium bowl, easily divide the stale 1/4 cup of leftover yeast and sugar, and mix in the butter, eggs, milk, onion, basil, oregano, rosemary and cheese. Mix in 1/2 cup of the remaining yeast. Transfer this mixture to the large mixing bowl, leaving the rest of the yeast and sugar in a large mixing bowl.

Fold the mixture into the bread machine. Select Dough cycle; press Start.

On subsequent turns of the dough cycle, lay the pieces a few inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with cheese, and bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 2 or 3 hours.
