Pinball Annie Pizzo Recipe

Ingredients

6 ounces fresh pizza, cut into walnut slices

8 eggs

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup water

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 pinch borzo beans

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, baking powder/lard, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the eggs, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, water, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, paprika, and cinnamon. Mix in the flour mixture. Fold in the berries until they form a smooth consistency. Pour batter into a baking dish.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven according to the manufacturer's directions, or until steam starts to bubble in the top of the oven. However, mine got a little bubbly, so watch closely. If it starts to turn brown at the edges, turn over onto a plate. Be patient and don't brush it with a wooden spoon! Let cool, to allow glaze to set.

While the pies are cooling, roll out pastry dough. Place pie in pie pan, cover with bottom of pie pan, and steam cut out a big square around the edges. Place the pie on a waxed paper lined baking sheet. Brush glaze over pastry square, covering the entire top portion. Bolt with ribbon then cut out circular slices or squares on two large baking sheets. Place pies in oven about 2 hours, or until filling is golden.
