2 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup boiled potatoes
1/4 cup butter
1 pound russet potatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup raisins
In a medium bowl, combine water, potatoes, butter, russet potatoes, salt, egg, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat, stir in raisins. Cook, stirring constantly, until potatoes are tender, about 2 minutes. Stir again when done. Pour over soup and stir.
