2 1/2 cups margarine, softened
1 egg
2 cups white sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Beat margarine, egg, sugar, flour, pecans and butter in medium bowl until well blended. Stir together and spread 1 1/2 cups mixture in bottom of 9-inch-thick pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, until crust is golden and lightly browned.
