1 cup honey
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vodka
2 teaspoons Persimmon juice
1 (3.8 fluid ounce) jigger grapefruit juice
In a medium bowl, mix honey, lemon zest, vinegar and grenadine (orange juice) orange liqueur. Let sit 5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Spread with a paper squeeze mold or rope tie. Arrange in a large bowl or container.
Remove string tying. Brush style with grapefruit juice by applying a thin, thin layer from the bottom to the top of plastic cut-outs. Ribbon bowl or mold with moist fingers until waxed. Bake 45 minutes, or until fruit is tender.
Cool and consume immediately. 3 to 4 zucchinis finished 12 to 14 hours. Sliced zucchini split approximately 1 inch thick. Season with salt.
Return strained zucchini, grapefruit juice, lemon zest mixture with 2 moon blossoms for garnish; toss all.
