1/2 cup butter, cut into medium chunks
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 cup water
6 drops red food coloring (e.g. in a small bowl, mix green unflavored gelatin and red liquid blue)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pour butter, sugars, eggs, water and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract into a bowl. Add a little sweetener and orange juice to the mixture if desired. Wrap and chill in refrigerator; serve immediately.
