1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners.
In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Stir in milk, egg, butter, brown sugar and orange juice. Mix until smooth. Spoon 1 tablespoon of batter into each muffin cup.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove muffins from oven and sprinkle with pecans.
