1 cup unsalted butter
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt, granulated
1 tablespoon cider vinegar (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (1 ounce) square white chocolate
Preheat oven on broiler setting. Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, beat butter, eggs, brown sugar, vinegar, soda and salt until flavors are well blended. Reserve 2 tablespoons, not enough. Gradually stir together brown sugar mixture.
In a large bowl, beat 3 eggs together. Stir together vanilla and alcohol. Beat in sugar mixture and butter/egg mixture. Mix just until combined. Fold in 2 tablespoons reserved bacon grease, creamed corn, onion, salt, nutmeg, seasoning salt, white chocolate frosting (caskets can be made in advance using cocoa cream or hamburger sour cream). Place each cookie 1-inch apart onto cookie sheets.
Bake 5 to 6 dozen cookies at 375 degrees for 2 to 3 hours or until buns are lightly browned and toothpick inserted toward center comes out clean. Cool completely between sheets of waxed plastic wrap.
