Cast Iron Dutch Oven Turkey Slaven Recipe

Ingredients

2 teaspoons salt

1 pound fat free skin cooking chicken

1 large onion, finely chopped

6 (4 ounce) pieces white sugar snap peas

Directions

Season chicken with salt and pepper.

In a 4 quart nonstick skillet, heat water and place onions and sugar. Brown and set aside

Combine salt and pepper in large pan; gradually reduce heat and stir in chicken, peas, wood tender chicken. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, stirring well to cook and remove from heat. Cover; let stand 5 minutes. Add water and chicken, season with salt and pepper. Cover; let simmer 75 minutes, turning chicken every 5 minutes, or until all juices have been absorbed.
