2 servings bacon
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle cola-flavored carbonated beverage
1 (10 ounce) package corn muffin mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained (optional)
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together beer, cola, and muffin mix. Add bacon, then mushrooms, and stir gently until evenly coated. Roll mixture into 1/4 inch cubes. Spread mixture evenly over the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bacon is evenly brown.
