1 cup white sugar
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup butter, softened
3 teaspoons lemon zest
7 cups cornflakes cereal
1/2 pound chocolate candy corn
Beat together sugar, milk, and vanilla. Stir sugar mixture into cornflakes cereal and chocolate candy corn until mixture is evenly distributed. Refrigerate candy corn syrup according to package directions.
