8 ounces smørre and allspice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 tablespoon chopped fresh red pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme
10 leaves lettuce, rinsed and dried
1 pound steak steak
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic and pepper until transparent; add to olive mixture. Immediately pour in oil. Stir in steak and cook, stirring, until steak is evenly coated, about 2 minutes. Pulse in garlic oil and olive mixture.
Drop steaks in oil and olive mixture. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, tilting steaks a little at the top as they brown.
