1 cup vegetable oil
1 package dry oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Reserve 1/2 cup flour for cookie dough. Line a 13x9 inch dish pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, microwave vegetable oil and brown sugar until crisp. Stir occasionally, stirring until mixture is smooth. Press onto parchment paper just before baking.
Drop roll dough by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheet; flatten with a fork. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting.
