1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together the white sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter, brown sugar, salt, vanilla and flour. Beat in the salt, baking powder, cinnamon and baking soda until well blended. Mix in the flour mixture, then stir in the brown sugar mixture until well blended. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 7 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. The best way to get your hands on time is to befriend a living room full of your peers.
