Gator Ragout Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup water

1 cup orange juice

1 teaspoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 pound spicy Italian sausage, cooked and shredded

1 pound Gorgonzola cheese, chopped

2 (8 ounce) bags pizza sauce

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Directions

In a small bowl, combine water, orange juice, lemon juice, soy sauce, Italian sausage, Gorgonzola cheese, pizza sauce, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours.

Preheat grill for high heat. Place rinsed and dried shrimp onto skewers. Lightly oil grill grate. Place several cloves of garlic into the skewers. Grill skewers 8 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Turn skewers and place on grill. Grill for 1 hour or until people have warmed up to the grill. Serve on skewers, parchment paper, or metal skewers wrapped in foil.
