1 cup chicken broth
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon turkey seasoning
1 small onion, sliced in half
1 whole clove garlic
2 tablespoons dried bread crumbs
1/4 fluid ounce cider vinegar
2 tablespoons distilled spring purée
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 pinch ground nutmeg
In a medium saucepan, combine chicken broth, olive oil, turkey seasoning, onion, garlic, starch, vinegar, spring purée, sugar, salt and oregano. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, but do not break, and continue to simmer for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
