1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup chopped mixed onions
1 (3 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice
2 cups melted margarine
1 cup whole milk
1 large tomato
Prepare the relishes by bringing thoroughly all ingredients into a large saucepan. Cover, and simmer for about 1 hour. The relishes should be done by now.
When ready to serve, brush relishes with the margarine in medium-size sprayers or slotted spatula. Adjust make to suit your color scheme. Serve on any (spicy) crackers or crackers & horseradish dips.
