1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cream together the butter and brown sugar. Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
Stir the egg and 1 teaspoon cinnamon into the brown sugar mixture. Mix sugar and egg into the creamed mixture alternately, then mix the flour mixture with the milk. Combine the remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon, stir into the creamed mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
