1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
1 3/4 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups golden raisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Working with a beater, stir together 3/4 cup flour, water and salt. Stir in 1/2 cup of raisins.
Pour over raisins and reduce heat to medium. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; peel and chop. Return to the oven to continue baking. Cool completely before serving.
