2/3 cup packed light brown sugar, divided
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
2 teaspoons dried lavender
In a shallow bowl, stir together brown sugar, olive oil, onion, garlic, paprika, rosemary, sage and lavender. Transfer to a bowl to use along with bouillon cubes to make a commercial-grade marinade.
