1 cup margarine
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 cup packed light brown chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large stockpot, combine margarine, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla and eggs. Beat on medium speed until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and chocolate chips. Reduce speed to low and pour mixture into the greased 9 inch pie pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until edges are golden. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
