1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 large white cake mix
3 egg whites
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (1 ounce) square unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch pie pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the cake mix, then beat in the eggs one at a time. Gently stir in the cream cheese and vanilla. Beat in the pecans. Pour mixture into pie pan.
Bake for 50 to 55 minutes in the preheated oven, or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Chill before serving.
