1 (18 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 (10 ounce) packages Pecan Granulated Sugar Syrup
1 cup Pecan Nut Pieces
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup raisins
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch square baking dish.
In a large bowl, cream together 2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup butter until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the Pecan pieces. Combine the 1 cup sugar syrup with 1 cup Pecan Pieces. Stir the wet ingredients into the creamed mixture until well blended. Fold in 1/4 teaspoon salt and vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan and sprinkle with raisins.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the pie from the oven, and allow to cool completely.
