1 1/2 cups honey
1 cup margarine, melted
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda lemon juice
2 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup shortening for frying
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a large bowl, cream together the honey, margarine, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda lemon juice, all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until combined. Fold in the oats, shortening, and 1 cup jelly beans.
Spread mixture evenly into 9x13 inch pan. Arrange the cookies 1 inch apart on the bottom of the prepared pan. Press the cookies onto the top of the pan.
Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the pan, and cool completely.
